-
1. What should I wear to a Pilates class?Comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for movement, like leggings or fitted pants, and a comfortable top. Bare feet or socks are usually worn during classes.
-
2. What is Classical Pilates?Classical Pilates refers to the original exercises, original apparatus and sequences, developed by Joseph Pilates. The result is not just teaching a list of exercises on the mat or reformer for fun, but a full body conditioning system that gets results. Trust the method and you will feel the magic that the Pilates method can bring to strengthen the body (both outside and internal core) whilst simultaneously improving flexibility, mobility, stamina, control and posture.
-
3. Is Pilates suitable for beginners?Pilates is for all fitness levels. Instructors can modify exercises to suit beginners and gradually build up to more advanced movements.
-
14. How do I know which class is right for me?· Start with a beginner or foundation class to build your base. From there, your teacher will guide you on whether you're ready to progress to a more advanced class.
-
13. What are the benefits of practicing Pilates regularly?· Improved core strength, better posture, increased flexibility, enhanced mind-body connection, injury prevention, and muscle tone.
-
12. What is the studio booking and cancelation policy ?· You can book in up 2 hours in advance. Cancellation or re-scheduling is required 18 hours before. We recommend booking in advance, especially for popular classes, to ensure a spot.

11. Can Pilates help with weight loss or toning?· Yes! While Pilates isn't a high-cardio workout, it can help you build lean muscle, improve posture, and increase overall body strength, which can contribute to a more toned physique.
-
10. What is the difference between mat Pilates and reformer Pilates?· Mat Pilates uses just the mat and bodyweight, while reformer Pilates utilizes a machine (the reformer) with springs and pulleys to provide resistance and assist in certain exercises.
-
9. What should I do if I have a specific injury or health concern?· It's important to inform the studio and/or teacher before class so they can offer modifications or avoid certain movements. Please let us know also in your client form. Pilates can be very effective for rehabilitation, but it’s important to work with your teacher to tailor exercises to your needs.
-
8. How long are the classes?· Our Pilates classes and private sessions are 55 minutes long.

-
6. What type of Pilates certification is required to teach ?The key thing to look out for is to check your teacher is fully comprehensively trained. This means the training is much more in-depth and throughout the whole method. A dynamic reformer class is not the same as a fully comprehensive Pilates session.
-
7. Do I need to be in shape to start Pilates?· No, Pilates can be modified for all fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or are an experienced athlete, Pilates can benefit you.
